Job Description:

Responsible for growing the Good to Go business and mentors the GTG Assistant.

Develops sales and marketing programs to be used in selling Good to Go products.

Works with national account teams, RSM's. SMM's and CSR's to provide training and bring needed expertise to the sales process.

Works with customers to ensure they are carrying the correct product mix. Builds Planograms for all market segments with the proper GTG mix of items.

Educates regarding industry trends, consumer insights both internally and externally.

Works with Marketing on GTG projects, works with NAM's and customers on developing customer specific promotions to drive sales for GTG suppliers.

Attends and supports trade shows where GTG is being presented, educate customers on GTG. Helps manage and develop the Fresh Program and the Microkitchen project, as needed.

Responsible for negotiations with GTG suppliers, putting programming in place and developing strategy on how to grow sales with each supplier.

Develop training and sales tools to support and train all levels of the sales organization.

Works with national account team, as the subject matter expert, and works with customers to develop proper product mix on GTG items.

Works with both internal and external customers, as well as suppliers, negotiating program and selecting product mix for the category.

Mentors and trains the GTG Assistant in all support job responsibilities.

Provides merchandising support to sales and field merchandising by assisting in preparing bids and provides training and information.

Creates and provides GTG marketing and promotional opportunities to customer to drive GTG sales.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 1-2 years Foodservice Sales and/or related work experience

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

  • Candidate must live in sales territory; No relocation

  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English

  • Post high school education, i.e. culinary training, AS/BS degree in business management, culinary arts or related field.

  • 5+ years Foodservice distribution industry experience

  • Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
