Job Description:

We are looking for an expert in Coffee Production to lead our Coda Coffee division! The General Manager of Coda Coffee is responsible for effective operations within the Coda Coffee production facilities. Responsible for overall operation of the business to include managing staff, inventory control, production, warehouse, delivery, and administrative support functions. The GM enhances customer relations, develops annual budget, leads sales and purchasing efforts, participates in development of products and is responsible for achieving division goals and objectives. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company

The GM is responsible for all supply chain management functions within the production facilities. Requires thorough involvement with sales, operations, procurement/marketing, customer service, and finance. Supervises senior level staff at one or more location(s). Accountable for achieving established profit, Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA), sales growth, and other financial measures of the business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees the operation with responsibility for inventory control, production, purchasing, warehousing, delivery and administrative support functions.

  • Responsible for achieving established goals and objectives. Develops the annual budget to include the determination of projected department expenses and gross profit projections.

  • Enhances customer relations through quality customer service to include adequate inventory, accurate and timely deliveries and prompt responses to problems and concerns.

  • Leads sales effort with PFG Segment sales managers to include meeting customers, providing appropriate service levels, and meeting with sales staff at meetings and food shows.

  • Represents the organization with customers, associates, vendors, the financial community, and the public.

  • Direct overall supply chain management within the business to ensure attainment of departmental goals and objectives, evaluating performance of staff members for compliance with established policies and objectives of the business and their contributions in attaining those objectives

  • Oversees safety programs

  • Oversees quality control programs to ensure that all customer requirements are met.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

$160,000 - 180,000 base salary + 50% Annual Incentive Potential

Required Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge in production management in a coffee roastery environment, including pricing and procurement

• 5 + years of progressive leadership experience including accountability for: Finance/Accounting, Operations, Sales, Distribution within the Food/Beverage industry

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly

• Strong communication skills
