Job Description:
This an exceptional opportunity to learn how a Fortune 100 company manages the data for it's Products/Items.
The Master Data Management team(s) strive(s) to ensure that its organization's shared data is consistent and accurate to improve data quality. There are multiple teams that support our customers, vendors, products/items and costing. If the data is not correct here, it may cause downstream issues. This requires the individual to analyze and audit the data for accuracy and make corrections in accordance with established procedures. Use your critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities to ensure accuracy of our vendor files that help the business unit to efficiently function. Create and maintain PFG's electronic items for the Master Data Management (MDM) system.
There is teamwork and collaboration with other teams and functions (Finance, Procurement, Sales) team members to achieve these common goals of ensuring you are supplying the right data to the right people in the right format.
Analyze data and make corrections as necessary. Validation of information on Products/Items.
Customer service relations with the Operating Companies and manufacturers.
Processing Operating Companies requests for setting up or making changes to items in the MDM system
Audit and make corrections to the MDM data.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
This individual will function as a team member within the department and cross-functionally, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
